series combines todays technologies with the durability and realibility
of OSI's standalone access systems. Only through the remarkable
innovations of our engineers could such a remarkably flexibile system
have been developed.
The 2000 Series allows the use of common ID cards
issued at numerous campuses and government facilities. OSI is also
FULLY compatible with the new military Common Access Card (CAC.)
The 2000 Series is also compatible with the latest HID proximity
technology.
Through today's technology, this system allows
programming of each door in less than 10 seconds. All major programming
is done at the comfort of the end user's desk. Simply carry the
Pocket PC to each door to program the door.
Applicable systems are OM2000, OP2000, QA2000 and
QP2000.
Users Types: More
than 65,000 unique user codes or cards can be programmed into the
databse. Up to 2000 users can be programmed per door. Each user
can be set to any of the following types:
General Users - Access only
Managers - Unrestricted access with ability
to change access of lock (restrictable.)
Programmers - Restrictable access allowing
delegation of programming responsibility.
Service - Time restricted user code with constant
PIN requirement.
Access Levels:
Unlocked, Unlock with ID, Enrolled ID required, Lockout, Facility
Card, Shutdown and Antitamper. Each access level is assignable for
PIN required, as well. Antitamper: Temporary disables keypad
for period of 10 seconds if 3 invalid codes are entered. Prevents
hackers from "guessing" codes. Audit: Each lock retains activity
of more than 5,000 events, including entries, scheduled actions,
antitamper mode, daylight savings setting, and user attempts. Facility
can retain unlimited audit trail information. Key Detection*: This feature allows
audit information to be logged when users bypass the electronics
using a key. Time schedule: Set up to 144 scheduled
events for each of the seven days the week. Plus, 32 holiday schedules
with 2 varying holiday schedules. System also allows for 256 individual
facility schedules. Battery Life: 5 years/100,000 entries.
